Just me futzing with badges again and trying to do one for Exile Huscoon. :D

Edit: Changed image from the graphic to a photo of the badge itself being I liked how it came out after all the cutting and laminating. Whoo. :)

Whoo, and we're done. :D Fixed up the shading and highlights hopefully and even attempted some kinda background. Oh nos. :P I'm happy with him over all though. :) Thanks to Tails for all the tips and advice on him!! *HUGS*

Still a WIP I suppose but putting out what I have so far. Trying some different coloring methods and stuff. I still need some deeper shadows in there I think or something. Hmmmms.

Whoo! Hit FA:U this weekend! Fun fun convention! Hanging out with old friends, getting to know some of my newer friends better, etc. Got to volunteer a bit and help out with handling a couple 'priority' situations in spots which actually was pretty cool. Gives you something more to do for the typical slow-points of the convention. Sunday at the con was the best day though I think. Was my birthday! :D Shy Matsi bought me a birthday shirt and a fabric pen so got to spend the whole day collecting signatures on my shirt. Hehe. I think I have at least 50 on there, I didn't realize I knew that many people!! Don't wanna start saying who signed it as I'm bound to miss some people. One of the highlights was a signature from Spunky though! Loooove her work. Will have to take pictures of it and post it up. Also a badge from Likeshine. She made me soooooo cute!! I can only hope I'll get to the level she's at one day. -.- Another odd b-day moment was getting tied to Flightline's back and dragged out to the street in front of the convention!! WTF! Hehe. Though once there found some hidden fursuiters and got to hanging out until about 3 a.m. and this was after hanging out until 2 a.m. in the cold (cold for August!) guarding some equipment. One of the suiters actually asked for my signature on the con book where the picture was that I submitted. Crazy people. ^.^ Great convention though!

But taking advantage of the inspiration garnered at FA:U and trying a new species as seen below. Kinda cute I guess. :D

Who's going to FA:U? :D and just finished up this guy tonight finally. Tried some kinda texture again but ehhhh I dunno.

I'm looking to buy a DVD Recorder, my old VCR finally snuffed it. Can you play stuff you record on a DVD recorder on a computer without any trouble? Often I'll record stuff on the tv downstairs and then watch it at night in my bedroom.

Well tried doing a traditionally inked and colored badge for practice. Experimented on my friend Cray and his wolf character. Hehe. Was a test run working with peel 'n stick type of lamination. Came out mostly "meh" but was an experiment of sorts. Still might prefer doing badges onna computer and then printing them out, or think there's more of a lure for traditionally done badges? Hmmmms.

Wow! Busy busy weekend for a change for me. Hehe. Just quick rundown, had a great turn out at the local furry meet on Thursday, got out of there late like 1 a.m. or so.

Friday drove down with a group of non-furry friends (yes I have those) to Atlantic City to catch a Melissa Etheridge concert. Wow! Never saw so many masculine lesbians in one place! :o Was a great show though, she's really emotional and powerful in her lyrics and performance so was a blast to see live. Lost $40 learning to play craps too which was fun and a $40 loss isn't bad at all in that place! Saw real live prostitutes too. O.o Nothing that I'd ever touch, yipes! But got home from all that around 4 a.m.

Saturday was BBQ at another friend's house. Great time was had by all!

Sunday spent time with non-non-furry friends Zero and Cray and caught up on a couple more Doctor Who episodes. Nearly done with season two! :D Yeah I'm behind.

So Monday again now and actually enjoying a bit of routine and normalcy again. About to go ink something now with luck. :)

Picture for a trading post thing. :) Kinda a rush coloring job sadly but I haven't posted anything here in awhile so figured would put this one up. Hehe. Kinda an inside joke I guess and some back story but eh, guess it makes sense in a way regardless. :D Need to get back to daily sketching again. Did get a couple commissions recently though. Huzzah!

I haven't been to AC since 2003 I think, maybe 2004, just because the larger cons get me too anxious and hectic and have trouble relaxing and enjoying myself. Even though it's my choice not to go, I still get a bit down the weekends that AC is held though this time around wasn't too bad. Mostly stayed around the house though did visit a couple friends Saturday at least and today was a visit to my parent's house with Jake (my dog), so kept mostly busy. Not been drawing much lately though. Waaaah. Losing energy and/or ambition for my hour-a-day sketches though I think I can blame the warmer weather, just knocks me out sometimes. :P But just felt the need to post something or other being everyone else is (mostly about AC). Hehe. I'll be at FA United and FurFright (hopefully with suit!) though at least. :D The smaller cons are easier for me I guess. :)

Whoo got to do some more Illustrator inking practice on my wolf gal. Inked and base colors at least. Probably won't get to the shading until tomorrow. Hopefully fixed some of those pending issues with the hips and chest though hard to tell. I'm no expert. Hehe.

Okay, practice sketches done so trying for a more complete sketch now, how's it looking? Her head is too large and from what other people are saying the breasts are a bit too high up but otherwise I think pretty happy with her so far. I expect some feedback now from the few of you that were nagging me to draw women. ;) Hehe.

Ouch, I can not draw women as these sketches show. Was a little study on the female chest and hips. They're really a mystery to me still. :-\ Need more practice with them.

Well this was an interesting character. :D Hehe. Wasn't that nuts about the sketch to begin with but then I think came out all right in the end. The wings were fun to mess with. :) Hope Pandy likes it!
